Ukraine has endured continuous bombings by Russian forces for over two years. In response, in 2022, we initiated our inaugural fundraiser "Grooves For Ukraine" and successfully raised over €7,000, which was donated to Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe. This organization provides aid not only in Ukraine but also wherever disaster strikes. During renewed attacks on several cities, countless innocent lives—including defenseless animals—were injured and lost. These animals, who would steadfastly protect their owners if they could, faced immense danger. Our upcoming second fundraiser "Grooves For Ukraine Vol.II" supports two organizations, with funds split equally between them. The first organization focuses on the often-overlooked companions who stand by our side—the pets and animals traumatized by the war. These furry friends endure the shock of missile strikes, losing their homes, loved ones, and families, living in perpetual fear amidst chaos. UAnimal, a Ukrainian animal welfare group, coordinates efforts to aid animal shelters and organizations across the country. Since the conflict began, theyve tirelessly rescued and cared for animals affected by bombings, reconstructing shelters destroyed by the Russian military. Additionally, they advocate for animal rights and oppose fur-based fashion. The second organization, AIDx10, consists of volunteers based in Kyiv, London, and Berlin—a team of creative professionals committed to Ukraine's sovereignty and freedom. By leveraging creative communities in music, art, design, and fashion, AIDx10 aims to bolster frontline aid efforts and collective resilience against Russia's aggression.
