[ESP] El productor madrileño Ionian protagoniza la decimoquinta referencia de Several Roots, "Aurora Picnic". Un EP compuesto por tres cortes originales que van desde el techno a la electrónica más experimental pasando por el ambient, el dub, el acid o la IDM. Para la composición y producción de "Aurora Picnic", Ionian ha empleado diversos sintetizadores de sobremesa, modulares eurorack y otros equipos físicos, así como el software Ableton Live para la grabación, procesado, arreglo y mezcla final. Para la generación de la percusión ha empleado cajas de ritmos como MC707, Tanzbär, DFAM o la percusión fm del BIA a las que aplica proceso con pedales como el Retroverb de Vermona, el Zen de Erica Synths o el VT BASS tech 21. En cuanto a los elementos tonales ha hecho uso de la reverb Specular Tempus para generar pads y de módulos como Mutable Rings o Acidlab M303 procesados a través del módulo AGNI para generar sonidos más distorsionados. An EP comprised of three original tracks ranging from techno to experimental electronica, touching on ambient, dub, acid, and IDM. For the composition and production of "Aurora Picnic," Ionian utilized various desktop synthesizers, Eurorack modulars, and other physical equipment, as well as Ableton Live software for recording, processing, arrangement, and final mixing. In generating percussion, Ionian employed drum machines like MC707, Tanzbär, DFAM, or the BIAs FM percussion, processed through pedals like Vermona's Retroverb, Erica Synths' Zen, or tech 21's VT BASS. Regarding tonal elements, Ionian utilized the Specular Tempus reverb for generating pads and modules such as Mutable Rings or Acidlab M303, processed through the AGNI module for more distorted sounds.
