E-HRZN Records is thrilled to announce our first release of the year via the talented Colombian producer IAN. This eight track release features four original tracks by IAN, each or which have been remixed by brilliant up-and-coming talents Åre:gone, DJ Prim, i decided, and Kalher.

IAN’s four original tracks draw inspiration from stripped-back, minimal, early 90’s Detroit techno with heavy 808 kicks, percussions, and rhythms alongside uncompromising, hypnotic, and energetic synths. Displaying a deep sense of knowledge and maturity in his sound, IAN creates soundscapes on the subject EP with a raw but modern touch which never strays from a vintage Techno feel.

To polish the work, each of the four hand-selected remixers added their own distinct touch to the short album. While each remixing artist was given complete control over their creative output, the stellar contributions resulted in cohesive productions which stay true to the classic Techno feel of the originals, while also creating a diverse sonic panorama with lush, dreamy soundscapes, vocals, and captivating, modern grooves.
