Ibiza-based DJ and producer Plastik Funk (currently ranked #72 on DJ Mags Top 100 DJs) has launched his own label FUNK YOU Musik. "I want to provide a platform for new talent, but as well release tracks from established artists and of course my own music. It is important to emphasize that I am not signing artists based on followers or monthly listeners: It is all about the music – music that I love and that I can play in my DJ sets all around the world.", explains Plastik Funk. After a first sold-out label night during last year's Amsterdam Dance Event and the kick-off of his new "Funk You Radio" radio show, the label-head himself provides the debut release on FUNK YOU Musik: "Sunshine Hotel (Just Walk On In)", a new interpretation of the legendary club hit by Jamie Lewis and Nick Morris, originally released in the year 2000. Plastik Funk, who is one of the Top 101 producers 2023 worldwide (based on the incorruptible 1001tracklists ranking), raves about the tune: "This has always been one of my all-time favourites and I am beyond happy how everything turned out. I really can not wait for you to hear it!"
