His career has been thrilling, sparked in the 2000s and influenced by legends like Sven Wittekind and Chris Liebing. About Minus 25
Barry Stabij, known as Minus 25 since 1987, hails from Dalfsen, The Netherlands. Initially a hardstyle artist, he performed at festivals like Defqon 1, Q-Base, and Decibel. Transitioning from the mainstream focus, he shifted to techno, dropping his BPM by 25 to align with his new alias. His hardtechno tracks with Schranz vibes were picked up by labels such as Mad Made, Rave Alert, Dolma, KUBE, and TheABOVE Records. Minus 25 also founded his own label, The Second Room, focusing on music for true lovers rather than mainstream appeal. His unique underground sound has gained recognition from major artists and is an integral part of "The Second Room," which is known for its distinctive underground vibe.
