North South Project

"German duo North South Project once again link up to explore a spine tingling array of house sounds on their new Echoes of the Past EP on Ear Porn Music. The pair, made up of producer Torsten and vocalist Petra, have worked on labels like Krafted Underground, Wasabi Limited, & Tanzgemeinschaft in the past. They have a studio packed with hardware and Torsten often combines moods, grooves and textures from both hardware and software to come up with his unique productions. Petra says that when she first heard his composition of this new lead single she heard sirens sing. She knew the track only needed subtle vocals, and thats what she provides to support the atmosphere and take the listener on a journey back to a past world. The result is something with smooth and seductive drums, gentle vocal whispers and lush cosmic melodies that really get you hypnotised. She says of the second tune, 'I still remember the night, when we started with this new track. I was immediately inspired to start with the lyrics when I heard the first melancholic tunes. Moment of Eternity is about running into someone you never expected to meet in life. For a fleeting moment the night is filled with magic and you feel this deep connection, a strange attraction that is beyond reason.' It is a mesmerizingly deep track built on rolling and rubbery chords, with twinkling keys up top, a stylish breakdown and celestial atmosphere that is packed with emotion."
