Tercera referencia de Several Roots, en esta ocasión firmada por Nordés, proyecto conjunto de Isaac Sánchez (Minimatik) y Marcos Juez (Plebeyo). Nordés facturan una electrónica de corte emocional y difícil de encasillar, que lo mismo invita a la ensoñación y la escucha relajada en sus momentos más ambient que pone un pie en la pista de baile cuando aceleran el pulso. Ritmos cargados de detalles, atmósferas planeadoras y una fuerte carga melódica son sus señas de identidad. Comenzaron a trabajar juntos en 2015, y desde entonces han editado varias referencias: los EP’s “Energy” (2016) y “Plutón” (2017), además del álbum “R.A.W. (Rejected Ambient Works)” (2017). Ahora presentan este nuevo trabajo, “Overcurrent EP”. El tema que da título a esta referencia, “Overcurrent”, presenta a unos Nordés que amplían su paleta estilística, entrando casi en terrenos drum’n’bass. El segundo corte, “New life”, es una nueva incursión de los asturianos en su electrónica ensoñadora y sugerente. Completan el EP tres remixes a cargo de Adhesive, Ethan Poe y Promising/Youngster, con tres lecturas de los originales en estilos muy diversos.
