NKX lands his debut full release on the label with the diverse 6-tracker “Ministry Of Truth”. The Italian born, Berlin based artist delivers his not-so-typical approach to Techno production, resulting in an inventive assortment of soundscapes, percussions and groove lines in each track. On “We Think For You”, a politically-infused speech is played before you’re hit with a powerful, dynamic piece. A perfect peak-time set starter. Mysterious vibes keep building on the rolling “Dusty Cloud” and its enveloping bassline. Taking a sudden turn from the two previous tracks, on “Frozen Blood” an infectious, electric synth line and feminine vocals take over. “Thought Crimes” is an absolute groovy, textured heater that will not let you stop moving your feet. On “Unreasonable Thinker” NKX delivers a 90’s tribal-like track with a modern twist. Finishing up you can find “Rock Bottom”. What may seem like an ambient piece, bleeps and hypnotic rhythms take over as the last track of the EP evolves.
