Then we ran an artist development programme for FLINTA producers and vocalists, took a bunch of budding artists to record bangers in the studio and now – finally – Low End Therapy comes back to label work: presenting you today with LOW002 aka “Minor Details” the new EP from Bristol native, former Vietnam resident, Berlin based producer Insomniast! The EP feels urgent, ominous, bass heavy, and makes sense in the club. 

Minor Details EP is a selection of club centric tracks that were created fairly quickly, each encapsulating raw vibes. The EP name reflects the process of finishing the music, which consisted in polishing only minor details. 
Ranging across the 130 -145 bpm spectrum, the EP is at times dark, dubbed out and trippy like “Without U”, yet playful such as in “The Only One” which lightens up the general ominous vibe of the EP. “No Filter” goes raw and fast, no BS just full energy. “What It Takes” closes the EP by helping us land gently in groovy and sultry territories.  

Insomniast is not sitting in the studio everyday building tunes anymore, he’s now well into his octatrack rabbit-hole and driving himself nuts polishing his new live set.

If you don’t know Insomniast yet, check out his previous releases with Yuku, Ommaya, Posse Up!, W133, and Delphic Iris. His music gathered wide radio support from figures such as Sherelle, Jay Carder, Ehua, Tom Ravenscroft, and more.
