Originally released in 2007 on West London’s Slip ‘N’ Slide, Frank Degree’s Latin-house monster ‘O Samba E’ was the cross between Bob Sinclar’s ‘Love Generation’ and Junior Jack’s ‘E Samba’ the world needed that long hot summer. Now Soulfuric Trax revisits the club classic with a new remix package. Opening with Frank Degrees’ Re-Work, this release also features a remix and dub from Melé, picked up from a vinyl white label release. Melé creates a uniquely layered effect while retaining the Latin flare of the original, echoing his DJing technique using three or four decks and refreshing ‘O Samba E’ for 2021 dancefloors.
