Dit is een plek waar opkomende producers vanzelf naast gevestigde artiesten staan, en waar underground releases dezelfde aandacht krijgen als tracks van grote labels. De eerste 24 uur nadat je track online staat zijn echt cruciaal—dan kijkt het algoritme mee. Of het nu Volumo, YouTube of Instagram is, die eerste piek aan weergaven, opslaan, delen en interactie laat het platform weten: ‘Deze moet gepusht worden.’ Als je meteen je fans, vrienden en netwerk mobiliseert, maak je meer kans op een plek in algoritmische playlists of extra zichtbaarheid. Dus upload niet alleen, maar zorg dat je content klaar hebt, stuur je mailinglijst aan en wees actief in de reacties. Die eerste dag bepaalt de toon van je hele releasecyclus.
