A.Paul drops a raw and driving techno EP with hypnotic grooves comprised of analogue sounds.

Based in Portugal, A.Paul is an artist who is no stranger to CODE after performing at their events, and now he joins their record label with this four-track release. His career started in the '90s, and over the last three decades, he has played DJ sets all over the world, and built up an impressive catalogue of music.

In addition to numerous releases on his own record label's Naked Lunch and Onh.Cet, A.Paul's exhilarating techno tracks have also been released by prestigious imprints including Suara, Planet Rhythm, M_REC LTD, and Gynoid Audio, amongst many others.

"Reverie" is the EP's title track, and it opens the release with rattling hi-hats and pulsating bass tones cut by clattering bursts of percussion. "Zest" is a stripped-back track with a sadistic arpeggio lead nestled between the intense rhythms of high-velocity percussion. "Maintenance" has pitched tom drums and a sub-heavy bassline forming the foundation for a dark and percussive groove. "Orbital" closes the release with a rippling lead synth and sweeping pads.
