Re:Percussions Part I is a curated collection of DJ Hidden tracks originally released in the early 2000s across various influential labels. During this period, DJ Hidden was deeply involved with Fear Records, not only as a musical contributor but also as the visual force behind the label’s identity—designing its iconic logo and all accompanying artwork for its four releases. Seminal tracks such as Scared, Hidden, Empty Streets, and Thanatos were all part of the Fear Records catalogue.

Blastdoors of Perception found its home on the American-based Theoretic Records, while Darkstreet Jazz and Sabre were released through the UK imprint Abstrakt Recordings. People Are Programmed originally appeared on Semiconscious Media alongside Tsji-LP, though the version of Tsji-LP featured here has remained unreleased—until now. This previously unheard remix was crafted by Dutch drum & bass pioneer Ancronix, known for his work on Ruff-Teck Records and Metrik.

The remaining tracks on this compilation, although never officially released, were composed around the same era. Their inclusion helps complete the sonic picture of that creative time. All tracks have been carefully remastered to meet today’s audio standards, making them equally suitable for classic vinyl sets and contemporary digital DJ performances.
