Next up on Kaluki is a collaboration between Spanish upcoming DJ and producer, Daniel Orpi, and Italian counterpart, Mauro Venti, with their debut ‘Gee Masters’ EP. The pair have had releases signed to respected labels; Nervous, Formatik, Mr. Nice Guy & Material and received support from A-List DJ’s; Claude Vonstroke, Sidney Charles, Marco Carola, Eats Everything, and Kaluki head honcho, Pirate Copy, who has been hammering ‘Gee Masters’ in his sets all year. Kicking things off is title track, ‘Gee Masters’, a Tech House banger full of texture and rawness, from the squiggling synths to the coarse claps and layers of shuffling beats and chopped vocals. ‘Raw Sound’ rounds off the EP, incorporating raw percussive elements and a compelling groove for a fast paced finale.
