Having been “starstruck” by Amazonas, we decided to ask some of the album’s close friends, to create their vision of Pedro Sanmartín’s cd, and we can honestly say, we are delighted with the resulted. The three usual suspects and two new faces are our lineup of our 23rd release, Amazonas remixes, which is set to be published on Friday, the 22nd of June. We would like to welcome Luis Palomo, Ludowick, an up-and-coming producer who has just published his new tracks, Seven Villas and Jambutek. We have been lucky enough to have been presented with, a new tribal version of this track which includes some of Amazona’s dub characteristics. Carlos Agulló (Xols), the artist behind Red Panda, has also teamed up with the Sonidos Distintos family with a darker and more synthetic re-work of this track. LH Strikes aka Ruben Gonzalez, now known as Ruzztic, was also hypnotized by the deep Amazon, has delighted us with a classic house edition of this track, presenting a much more melodic and luminous version. Moreover, our label manager Mario F has brought some of his own magic to the mix and created a new version of Light Shivers. You’ll be able to hear similar acoustics, but with a 4x4 rhythm and hints of acid. At last but not least, our very own Pedro Sanmartín, under the alias Basic Shape, has shaped Linked Souls with his own style, giving it a new electro elegancy and wrapping up our new album.
