Release number 007 on Macro Terra Records , presents the collaboration between Piero Degiorgio, known as Hah Nah, and Angelo Pomposo, label owner. Titled "Vesuvian Sighs", this concept album explores the dark and evocative depths of the lands surrounding Mount Vesuvius. Like a journey through these shrouded in mystery territories, the tracks provide a sonic experience that captures the enigmatic and contradictory atmosphere of the area. Using binary codings and digital cartographies, Hah Nah creates numerical patterns that transform into generative textures and soundscapes, shaping fluid, suspended sonic landscapes. The album unfolds as an emotional and imaginative narrative, exploring the dualities and latent tensions between the grandeur of Vesuvius, the serenity of coastal villages, and the stories buried under millennia-old ashes. "Vesuvian Sighs" invites the listener to engage with the many facets of one of the worlds most fascinating and paradoxical environments, offering a rich, immersive, and complex musical experience The original tracks were entirely composed and recorded by Hah Nah during his stay in these lands. Pomposo then collected and reinterpreted the sonic information from the original tracks (Freefall Reverie, Burning Souls Collides, and Volcano Deep Dive), creating three remixes that explore various forms of electronic music—blending elements from Electro and Techno, using loops and samples derived from hardware gears and modular synthesis.
