Straight off the back from their successful debut release from Rusty K, Overtech Music are not taking their foot off the gas and are back with another killer single, this time from 16 year old Dutch wonder kid Signal as they bring to you 2 monster tracks suited for the trenches, accompanied by a monster collaboration with Belgian starlet Hyqxyz. 
At just the tender age of 16, Signal has notched up releases on the legendary Renegade Hardware, as well as having forthcoming releases on Kasra's Critical Music and Noisia's illustrious Invisible imprint and it is safe to say that the current future for this kid could not be any brighter.

"Footprint"

First up, Signal kicks off the single with the excessively sinister “Footprint”, a punchy affair with a particularly malevolent and steppy bassline injection. Dreary atmospherics ring out during the intro, setting the track's tone over a simple, yet perfectly calculated buildup. As the introduction comes to a close, the break provides moments of anxiety with elegant layered kick bass stabs hit in as the drop nears closer. Then it hits – a menacing, infectious bassline taking all who hear it prisoner. Its dark rolling nature is enticing like forbidden fruit and made only more potent by the drums' re-introduction, as the track rolls into its aggressive signature, yet rolling groove. This is a track that lives up to its name to which you are to be sure will leave a footprint on the dancefloor.

"Dusk"

Moving over to the flipside, the pressure rises as Signal teams up with the heavy hitting Belgian starlet Hyqxyz as they deliver the stomping tearout monster “Dusk”. Ominous horns add a red light direction from the outset, bleak and cold as looking ahead to the war that lies ahead. This track spares no time in thrusting you forward, progressing into the final climax with the heavy bass stabs building up before the best is unleashed. The trademark horns cut through the mix like a razor with the drums pounding through with surgical precision, reserved for the elite. This track paints a picture synonymous to a battlefield with it heavy yet precise sound design, to which you can be sure to see crowds all over with their heads down and ready for war.
