For their first 2016 release Ambra Recordings welcomes back Roman producer Caffeine. After his well received debut ''Market's Theme EP'' released early 2015 it was without a doubt his follow up EP would be equally as strong, maybe even better! With the ''Ancient Hero EP'' we find Caffeine exploring new vibes and textures stepping away from the soulful flavours that so determined his sound last year. 

On the EP's first track ''Ancients'' the intro sets a daunting tone with a minor chord progression and short stabs before errupting in a gritty bass driven frenzy, underlined by fierce breaks and cuts. Continuing with ''Who Is The Hero'' things get a little deeper but evenly as interesting with clever usage of strings and creative bass movement. While the track keeps on evolving a certain manner of consistency is definitely present through recognizable elements aimed towards the crowd and the dancefloor

Last but not least we end off on a lighter note with ''How Do You Feel'' featuring the classy vocals by Nicoletta Nardi. A perfect combination of driving beats and musicality with a melancholic feel. An overal great progression and skillfull insight in the mind of Caffeine for his sophomore EP on Ambra. We look forward hearing more.
