Keikari

Paris based newcomer Keikari steps up for his Konstruktiv debut with a five-track EP which follows his impactful release on US label Monocode. Accompanied by Moscow’s Rekord 61 and Sergey A.M. on remix duties, Konstruktiv deliver the goods again with five straight-up techno cuts for the heads.

Illta kicks off with the powerful title-track, where rigid bleeps glide over pounding kicks and hats which surface from the speakers like knives cutting through the tension.

Konstruktiv top dog Rekord 61 comes next with his own take on Illta, adding muscular funk and rolling distorted snares - an unrelenting trip to keeps dancers under pressure. Moscow’s Propaganda club resident Sergey A.M. then takes the reins with his own slower-paced take, a dark and magnetic remix, perfect to gradually build up the momentum on the dancefloor. 

Second original Synka hits hard with a whorl of industrial tones paired with a rough, clanging synth hook. Closer Unelma heads back down the tunnel with minimalistic drum work and infrared bells that channel the intensity throughout the track.

The mature sound and characteristic approach to production on display across Illta see Keikari stand out as a young producer to keep an eye on.
