We are imprisoned by our own minds with this problem of constantly thinking in those terms. If we look to nature, animals, plants, they are a true example of accepting what is. They live in the Now. The second you step into the present moment, and do not focus on memory, you become free.

Memories In A Jar refers to the ‘brain in a vat’ scenario where our existence is put into question. As well as referring to living in the past. The past and the future do not exist. But then again does anything? Are only solace is our belief that our thought process itself confirms our existence. We become obsessed however with the past, which does not exist now, it is only a memory, and we think this makes us who we are. This is something the ego is concerned with, the voice in our head that torments us.

Voices In My Head is a reaction to this, and an extension. We know the ego is forever trying to keep the past alive. It is never in the present. Without the past, who are you? But remaining only in the present is true freedom. Try to lose the voices in your head and focus on the now.
