Label cofounder Hd Substance returns home with this four tracker. This time his sound makes a twist, returning to his roots on Club Sickness, a raw exercise comprising a Roland 707 and a Sequential Pro One talking to each other on a weird jam. Distortion on the synth line fight with the punchy and clear old school drums. No super reverbs, no rumble, no overproduction … just drums and sequences fighting each other in a chaotical order.

Oratorio Virtual goes clompletely the opposite way, no old school tools here, no rawness. This time details are the main mission. Warm analogue drum sounds, elAborated synth lines, pads and textures, abstract melodies. Thinking outside the club environment.

Cosmonaut Again follows, using real piano samples and complex harmonies, this cut is again about details, spending hours working on synthesizing the sounds, positioning them in the strereo field, twisting and mangling them in real time. The goal here is to transmit some emotion and melancholy, complexity against floor rollers and BPM mayhem. Music first. 

Closing the release goes The House of The Lord, inspired in Romanian ortodox churches hidden in the transilvanian woods, Trying to capture the reverberation of those places, the calm you perceive when you are inside, the richness of the textures, the smell of incense. This could be an ambient track, or a profound tool to lie on top of the heaviest beat. Again attempting to send emotions and beauty thru music, not by social media and fakeness.
