"5th Generation Angel is a sonic experience oscillating between existing in the mind and in the body. This EP was crafted during an era where I surrendered to myself. I previously have struggled with existing solely in my head. During the period these songs were created, I regularly tried to suspend the mind to sink into movement and pleasure habitually. Many of these pieces are capsules of either side of this polarity or combine moments of both, extreme feeling and thinking. I created this oeuvre, in pursuit of transformation specifically in regards to healing my relationship with myself. I found wholeness in my soul through creating vs. the inclination towards perfectionism. During the stage of production I reflected on the beauty, pain and my ability to heal past the limitations I have bestowed on myself. This record is the ascension into a realm of actualization and application.  

Sonically, 5th Generation Angel holds the theme of duality, juxtaposing density and illumination, chaos and grounding, and the pain-pleasure principle. Maude conveys these polarities throughout the record with heavy bass lines, shimmering bell accompaniment, otherworldly textures, whispered vocals and apexed synth leads. Each song carries you to the next with moments of intensity and/or release. 5th Generation Angel is metaphysical, cinematic, and warehouse worthy all at once. 

Vis à Vis(face to face) explores facing oneself head on, which can be intense and confronting. Vis à Vis is a journey inward towards a place that requires you to look deeply and shift the elements of your life that do not feed your purpose. 

Hunnï is a 40hz grounder that leads with unique whispered vocals, abstract bells and transcendent textures. The vocals tell a story of harnessing one's energy and becoming a prevailing force of love. 

Luminous Dawn ft Alice.km is an interlude meditation meant to connect the listener to their body and environment. I wrote this piece in a state of serenity, connectivity and illumination. During this time, I was spending time in the softness of the sun and attuning myself to the nature around me. 

The Dance of the 7th Veil is a song of sensuality, seduction and pleasure. Visually this song embodies eating fruit in a vast orchard, dancing under a full moon or bathing in mineral hot pools while it rains. 

Visceral Vessel is a song of grounded chaos, oscillating between mind and body. This song is a push pull between the 2 states and the eruption of impulse and instinct; The classic state of the mind saying one thing and the body's gut reaction saying another.

5th Generation Angel pays tribute to beginnings and ends in one's self and life. This piece glistens and ascends into feelings of tranquility and collectedness."
