In the studies of Ifa, the reverence of our direct ancestors by lineage, or whom we call 'Egun', is a part of the core of our daily walk and spiritual tradition on this soil. In some texts and teachings, it is said that the ancestral realm exists under the ground. Amongst other forms of invocation, when we call them with the drum and sound, they come up and dance with us, in ceremony and celebration. 'Beneath The Earth' is a journey through deep sonics, which embodies the manifestation of the call to Egun and them heading our call. This melodic interpretation is characterized by an ever building conversation between rhythms and emotion in the synths. All building up to leave you with a final statement through the powerful guitar stylings of Daven C. Bodano. A deep, dance floor banger that will leave your body and spirit rich in feeling.
