It began in South Africa! A Deep House Sunday session in Johannesburg called ‘Patterns’ was the original inspiration behind this soul-jazz-afro fused collaboration. Returning to Bristol from his 2015 tour in SA, Sean began writing the instrumental idea for what later became ‘Grow’.

Dawn Williams is no stranger to contributing her gifted talents to create songs for the world to think about. With ‘Grow’, Dawn graces us with her inspirational message of hope and self–growth.

Sean McCabe’s ‘Patterns Vocal Mix’ has a solid groove, lush jazzy chords and layered with nice paddy synths - topped off with both beautiful and amazing vocals from Dawn, capturing hearts and taking you on a journey.

Warm Days label boss and Patterns resident DJ, QB Smith, is on remix duty. QB takes the jazz influences to the next level by exploring more syncopated rhythms, complemented by tender harmonic qualities that carefully bed the vocal track.
