Growing up in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Ìngryd Gobbo was immersed in the raw carioca lifestyle and the energy of the streets. She always felt a calling to break away from the hardships and dangers of favela life. In electronic music, Ìngryd found a creative path to channel the vibrant energy of her environment into her art. As her style evolved, she drew from her rich cultural background, blending the bold rhythms of Brazilian funk, the poetic soul of MPB, and the rebellious energy of Rock with the pulsating world of electronic music. Over time, these elements merged into her distinctive sound, where she seamlessly combines Minimal Deep Tech and Tech House, infused with elegance, intensity, and the story of her journey.
Her debut EP, Provocações, released in January 2025 on the UK label Lady Of The House, marked a milestone in her career, being highlighted on Beatport with selections for both Staff Picks and Hype Picks. This release consolidates an 8-year trajectory in which Ìngryd has established herself in Brazil, performing at renowned events like Love Sessions in her hometown, and internationally, with appearances at EGG London (UK), The Flat by Macan (Milan, Italy), as well as shows in Portugal, Ibiza, and Amsterdam, where she currently resides and continues to expand her international career.
The artist plays a key role in representing the Brazilian underground scene, driving relevant initiatives and inspiring other artists. Her deep commitment, unique artistic approach, and passion for music ensure that Ìngryd continues to leave her mark on the music scene, both nationally and internationally.
