Mantij is a project created by Julian Gomez Mantilla, born in Pereira, Colombia. At the age of 10, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin, where he stumbled upon a box of CDs in a dumpster, filled with music far removed from what his family typically listened to. He spent countless hours absorbed in these atmospheric, electronic, and ambient sounds.
