Carsten Halm is a German DJ and producer who prefers to keep his work under the radar.
He started his early career more than 10 years ago as a DJ, avoiding club play and instead performing at self-organized parties in the countryside near Cologne on a hillside, with just two residencies. These gatherings became so well known that respected artists, including Sven Väth, came to experience them. Over the years, this journey helped shape his understanding of the essential goals behind his music productions. His sound carries a unique quality that brings people together and creates a deeply positive experience.
Today, Carsten performs in established clubs while staying true to the roots that define his artistic identity.
In 2018 and 2019, he released music on the Cologne-based label Monkey League, where tracks such as “Mondlicht” and “Traumtänzer” were very well received and gained strong recognition within the electronic music scene.
His 2020 release on Parquet received support from notable artists such as ARTBAT, Solomun, Animal Trainer, Format:B, and Eelke Kleijn, further establishing his presence in the electronic music world.
