Bio

A relative already working in Sri Lanka's music business handed Jesse Joel Pollocks a copy of FL Studio in 2008, and by his account that is where Kyotto starts; piano lessons from the age of four were already behind him. He grew up in Colombo, took DJ bookings at birthdays, weddings and competitions before the name existed, spent a stretch working in Dubai and came back to Sri Lanka in 2018. Mango Alley issued his three-track solo EP Perfect Stranger in November 2024, and Movement Recordings put out The Surge, his first for that label, in 2025 with remixes from Cosmonaut and HAFT. He also runs CRFT Music, an imprint that carries his own tracks.
