After amassing over half a million listens on his first SoundCloud track: ‘Once In A Lifetime Groove’ released in April of last year, Liverpool-based Ben Griff has since had releases on various independent labels such as ‘Royal Records’ and ‘Dionysus Records’ and a few more TBA.
The 21 year old has had his synth orientated minimal tech house productions played across the globe in prestigious venues like Hï Ibiza and Abode Malta played out by the likes of Louden, Stef Davidse, Evie and Girls Don’t Sync.
Exciting releases include his collaboration with andE; an edit of the infamous ‘Sonnetanz - Sun Don’t Shine’, so far attracting over 100,000 listens on SoundCloud since its release earlier this year.
Ben first gained an audience through edits of tracks from popular artists such as Michael Jackson and the Weeknd, but is now focusing on developing his own unique, recognisable underground sound through his own original rhythms.
Ben’s underground style is heavily inspired by pioneers such as east end dubs, with inspiration also coming from exciting newcomers such as Julian Fijma and Louden.
After only beginning to DJ midway into 2023, Ben has since went on to perform in some of Liverpool’s most infamous venues: 24 Kitchen Street, Mansion and The Arts Club to name a few, including others outside of the city such as Stage and Radio Manchester and Distrikt Leeds.
