In search of the impact generated by sound in its subliminal tones, Juanito
presents a futuristic perspective on the track. Linked to disruptive electro
sounds and an undeniable preference for groove, his tracks come with a
certain dirtiness that cleanses the spirit. His sound is wide and dynamic,
supported and played by the heads of the current scene.
Born and raised in Cali, located in southwestern Colombia, he has positioned
a sound proposal projected towards the megastructure of the global electronic
music industry, always giving priority to the originality and vulnerability of his
essence. Nowadays, he has stood out among the best producers in the city
with his own sound. His first steps in the scene were taken in Toulouse, France,
where he introduced his music in some local clubs like Le Crie de la Mouette,
the Downtown Factory, and signed his first release with the French label Pain
Bénit.
Juanito returned to Colombia in early 2021 and immediately immersed
himself in the Cali scene, where he began to grow rapidly due to his music
and international support. He decided to join the Italian label Obscura Music,
owned by Fedele. His releases and music have been supported by artists such
as Dubfire, Secret Cinema, Olympe, Yulia Niko, Fedele, Shall Ocin, among
others. He is also part of Eklektisch, the label of Edu Imbernon and Mike
Gannu, with his EP “Gotta Cry,” which received great acclaim from artists like
Solomun and Raxon, even before its release date.

what God wants to communicate and bring to the world through machines.”
Thanks to his productions and the energy of his sets, he is now an intrinsic
part of the Cali scene, being a resident at the acclaimed Club Sala Kbron
and sharing the booth with artists like Jeff Mills, Solomun, Dubfire, Fedele,
Rödhad, Matador, Secret Cinema, among others, at events like Elemental Fest,
Drumcode, Obscura Showcase Tulum, Boreal, Frat, Ama, Arcana, and iconic
venues in the city like Sonido Central, La Frecuencia Violeta, and Espacio 10-
60, among others.
Thus, just as the weight carried by the biggest artists, so too does Juanito
State’s sound.
