Dwson (pronounced Daw-son) is a two-time award-winning artist, SAMA-nominated remixer, producer, and DJ who has carved out a beloved place in South Africa’s deep house culture. The Capetonian producer & DJ is one of the most sought-after electronic artists in South Africa at the moment. Effortlessly breathing new life into the local deep house scene with his dubbed-out sound, Dwson sets a clear vision, with diverse and refreshingly distinct ways that refuse to be tied to one style of house.
Thus far, he has taken stages at major events such as opening for Keinemusik, Kaytranada, Black Coffee, and consecutive Cape Town Electronic Music Festivals, Oppikoppi, Red Bull Music Academy, ULTRA, Rocking the Daisies, Synergy, and Design Indaba, proving his ability to command any crowd, anywhere.
