Super Flu is the long-running partnership of Feliks Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz, two producers who have kept their studio, office and personal roots in Halle rather than relocating to a larger electronic-music capital. Working together since 2005, they built a playful form of club music in which precise drums and melodic hooks leave room for odd textures, humour and organic warmth. In 2009 they founded Monaberry, extending that personality into a label that could host their own releases and a wider circle of artists. The duo’s division of labour is practical rather than rigid: Thielemann often operates the DAW and mixer, while ideas move back and forth until neither individual stamp matters more than the finished track. A second imprint, Didschn, followed in 2023 as another space for less easily classified club material. After two decades, Super Flu still sounds like an ongoing conversation between two producers, not a fixed recipe.
