Beka Kartsivadze, known by his stage name Maxic, is a Georgian DJ and producer who has been performing for large audiences for over 15 years. Born on August 14, 1989, in Batumi, Maxic is renowned for his expertise in Afro House. His passion for music, particularly electronic music, began in his childhood. Together with his younger brother, DJ and producer Qarcii, he co-founded the label “BlackSea Records”, through which his music is released on all major digital platforms, often reaching top chart positions worldwide. Maxic’s Afro House cover remixes, including hits like “Desert Rose”, “Natural Blues”, and others, have received strong international support and captured the hearts of global listeners. Notably, “Natural Blues” was featured in Beatport’s Best Afro House Tracks of January 2025, while his track “Shiky Mama Yeh” continues to be widely supported in DJ sets by leading artists in the scene. His music is regularly featured on over 300 radio stations around the world. Throughout his career, Maxic has shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Modjo, Enoo Napa, Da Capo, Emmanuel Jal, as well as many other leading names in the Afro House scene, further solidifying his presence within the global Afro House community. In 2024, Maxic released his debut album, “Follow Your Dreams,” featuring 10 tracks. His journey is a testament to dedication, passion, and continuous growth, as his influence on the worldwide electronic music scene continues to expand year after year.
