Bio
Walter G's relationship with music began in his father's record shop in Palermo, listening to records arriving from around the world. That upbringing shaped Walter Graffeo's interest in jazz, funk and soul, and in the place of live instrumentation within house music. His productions and edits retain those connections, with collaborations ranging from Angelo Ferreri to pianist Giovanni Guerretti. Their Deep Intensity EP brings piano and trombone into a club setting, while In Our Souls pairs Guerretti's keyboards with Graffeo's drums and programming. Working from his Best Record Room studio in Sicily, he approaches house through both the record collector's ear and the producer's attention to arrangement.
