Bio
Progressive house, trance and the craft of studio production run through Jaytech's work as a DJ, producer, mix engineer and label A&R. James Cayzer first encountered electronic music at a university rave in his hometown of Canberra. Early productions made with a basic computer setup led to the international vinyl release Music 101, before a connection with Anjunabeats brought him to London to work in the label's studio.
His albums Everything Is OK and Multiverse trace a longstanding relationship with the Anjuna family, alongside touring with Above & Beyond and appearances at events including Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. His work on the Anjunadeep 02 and 03 compilations also made DJ selection an important part of that relationship. With Positronic, he created a home for his third album Awakening and a platform for emerging producers. The Jaytech Music radio show and podcast extends that role, combining his melodic club selections with guest mixes and new talent.
Based in Phoenix, Cayzer continues to connect production, engineering and DJing. His Ultramarine EP returns to Anjunabeats, while Ageha looks back to his Japanese debut at the Tokyo club of the same name, combining progressive-house foundations with breakbeats and trance-oriented synthesizers.
