Bio
In late 2020 the São Paulo duo Binaryh — Camila Giamelaro and Rene Castanho — founded the label HIATO Music with the DJ and producer BLANCAh, and much of their work since has gone into making room for other people's records. Camila has described HIATO as somewhere to issue their own material and to back Brazilian artists they believe in. The pair later added a second imprint of their own, DECØDED, and KØNTACT, a party series that opened at the São Paulo club D-Edge in October 2022 and had reached four editions by January 2025. Afterlife took their track Seyfert for the third Unity compilation in July 2022, and that September they played a Tale Of Us residency night at Hï Ibiza.
