The Scientists of Sound began in 2012 when Roberto Reale and Fabio Giunta, both DJs specialising in Afro, Soul and NuDisco, came across one another and realised they shared the same musical influences.
Roberto Reale started his DJ career in 2001, playing in various clubs and dipping into the world of radio. Fabio Giunta, took the same route
in 2000, becoming a resident DJ in various clubs and selecting the music for exclusive fashion parties etc, utilising his vinyl collection.
Today, The Scientists of Sound are Production Assistants for "VJSinc" the production company owned by legendary DJ and Producer Victor Simonelli, one of
the major players in House Music and owner of several
record labels including Bassline Records, Unkwn Records and West
Side Records.
During their careers, The Scientists of Sound have collaborated and played with many house music artists such as Tony Humphries,
David Morales, Joey Negro, DJ Spen, Victor Simonelli and many record labels,
such as: Quantize Recordings, Tony Records, Expatriate Records,
United Music Records, Bassline Records, Unkwn Records.

They are known, not only in Italy but abroad.

New York’s own Doug Gomez started his musical career as a DJ, honing his skills with the explosions of Hip Hop, House Music, and dancehall genres dominating the NYC club scene at the time.

As a true New Yorker of Colombian roots, his love for drums and sophisticated melodies led him to embrace the path from Deejaying to business and then eventually to production. He worked for the German powerhouse ZYX Music & NYC's Waako Records as A&R/promotions director and label manager.

Doug's desire to express his love through production for what he affectionately calls “That New York sound”, a mix of organic, soulful music, combined with Afro-Latin rhythms, is evident in all his productions. It led to an onslaught of releases and remixes on such notable labels including Universal Music, Orianna/Sony Music, MoBlack, Nervous Records, Quantize recordings, King Street Sounds, Z Records, and many more. Doug has remixed such great artists as Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Blaze, and many more.

Known for his good energy and always positive vibes, Sebastian Rivero is inspired by the sounds of his Caribbean upbringing. Whether it be the beaches of Los Roques or the mountains of Cerro El Avila in his hometown Caracas, Sebastian has always looked to connect his music to the environment he grew up in.

In 2025, he released “You Go” with Sparrow & Barbossa on the record label of the iconic party Circoloco , placing him firmly on the global map. His sound blends Caribbean and African roots into a powerful and percussive dancefloor experience.
