Bio

Simone Cristini’s house music grew from DJing with friends in Civitavecchia into club residencies, radio and production. He became a resident at Booka-Cika in Tarquinia in 2003 and co-hosted an electronic music programme with Daniele Kama. Early projects included work with Emanuele Inglese, followed by records on Stereo Seven and other Italian dance labels. His later output has a strong connection with funky and jackin’ house, particularly through Mood Funk and MONOSIDE. A long-running studio relationship with Angelo Ferreri stretches from their earlier releases to Take a Trip, while solo EPs continue alongside the collaborations. Cristini’s career brings together the practical experience of a working DJ and a producer’s interest in the groove, moving through different phases of house without losing that connection to the club.
