Italian based Extend Records is delighted to present its first release: JRD debut EP ‘Archaism’. Hailing from Antwerp (Belgium), JRD has made his own identity in the Techno scene being a respected and estabilished figure in Belgium for more than 30 years. He first unveiled his work to the public as a producer on a few compilations starting in 2021 via Token, Mindtrip and Prophet. JRD now makes his first appearance on a full-lenght EP with 4 cuts of classic techno sounds, a journey through his own signature, including a remix by no other than Conrad Van Orton. 
Starting with ‘The Search’ a track built on atmospheric shifts and a solitary bass drum that certainly sets the tone of the entire EP and opens to the dream with suspense. JRD then takes down the narrative tone notch to make space for 'Archaism'. Several drones and ambiences floating over a repetitive groove wisely administrated for an exceptional mental hypnosis. We are then gripped by an eclectic third track, 'Rude', a relentless rhytm with driving synth line perfectly arranged and plied along its run time to generate a palpable tension. Jordy then guides us to the final journey of 'Responder', an ethereal conclusion to an suspenseful adventure. To top it off, the release is provided with a remix that leaves no room for interpretations. Italian longstanding artist Conrad Van Orton turns the title track ‘Archaism' into a true peak-hour beast.
