Here we go, the next edition to the MIKRO WRX catalogue.
There's so much history to these tracks. Deranged and I have been close friends since we first linked up in London about 4 years ago now. Around the time when I was working in Bankstock studios (SAE Institutes studios), after a while, I convinced Deranged to go for it and come study audio at SAE, and once he realised all the written academic work involved, he has held bitter resentment towards me ever since! All jokes aside, we have since been collaborating, and even room mates and we made an effort when ever we could to produce music together. But in the heat of the moment, we kept deciding that the best course of action would be to start new tracks before finishing the ones we had started. It literally took years to finish the tracks! Until we learned after 3 years that we had to finish the tracks straight away or the consequences would be significant.
When we met up again this New Year of 2024, we decided to look through our old projects and finish as much as we could. We were utterly surprised hearing "The Plot Twist" as it was about 2 years old and "The Bewildered" about 8 months old. I thought the vibe would fit perfectly on MIKRO WRX, so those two collab tracks and an original each would make a great release. So super happy to finally be putting this out: "The Plot Twist EP"
