Low Volume is a collaboration between two talented Indian born producers Pawas and Ambrish. The EP features three original tracks including remixes by Nhar and Mastra. Look behind is a calm and melodic track that develops a wonderful drive with the help of the varied bassline, the acid-infused parts used coming across very playful. Nhars remix masterfully takes over the melodic elements of the original but catapults the track back into the eighties with the skillfully reinterpreted synth parts, the concise clap and the vocals. The minimal house number Apache Gold impresses with its reduction paired with groovy-dubby bassline and a cleverly staged guitar hook. Topsides, nevertheless more subtle, strings together sophisticated synth parts in a varied way and garnishes them with pads and funky-tinged synth elements. Mastras remix focuses more on the calm synth parts, which he uses more concisely and combines with additional rhythm elements.
