KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als eine Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud gegründet.
Der Ursprungsgedanke? Neuen Talenten aus der elektronischen Musikszene eine Bühne bieten. Was als Sprungbrett für Newcomer*innen begann, wurde schnell auch zur Anlaufstelle für etablierte Artists und Künstler*innen aller Art.

2020 folgte der nächste Schritt: Aus einem Podcast Projekt wurde ein eigenes Label mit Fokus auf Down- und Midtempo. Seitdem gibt’s zu den wöchentlichen Donnerstagspodcasts auch regelmäßige Releases auf allen gängigen Plattformen.
