The venue is 772 Dundas St W, just a block west of Bathurst Street. It’s housed in an unassuming concrete building with Carolina’s pizza restaurant below. Enter by ascending a flight of stairs to discover a space that’s more than just a room to wiggle. There are two lounge areas side by side. One has a long wrap-around red couch. The other area surrounds a small pool table. Luminescent art pieces, a fantasy tree, special lighting, and projections enhance the dance floor. The washroom is gender-neutral. Glasgow Underground was set up in 1997 by Kevin McKay. He began the label releasing his own music and collaborations with friends and other Glasgow-based artists (Omid 16b, Studio Blue, DJ Q, Harri). Through his DJing and work for various music magazines (Muzik, Jockey Slut, Mixmag Update) he met some of his favourite producers of the time (Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, Idjut Boys...) and convinced some of them to join him releasing on GU. In the early 2000s, Kevin met Mylo and set up the Breastfed record label. The global success of "Destroy Rock & Roll" meant Glasgow Underground was put on hold. After leaving the Breastfed label in 2011, Kevin re-started Glasgow Underground and since then the label has gone on to re-invigorate Romanthony's catalogue with remixes from the likes of Dixon, MCDE, Gerd, Andres, Oliver Dollar, Ejeca, Audiojack, Claptone, Christian Nielsen, Supernova, Jimmy Edgar and Waifs & Strays. The label has also introduced producers like Daniel Trim, Brett Gould, Mia Dora and Illyus & Barrientos as well has releasing established & rising stars such as Metodi Hristov, Stefano Ritteri and Sabb.

Cruise Music is a house music label established in 2014 by Mark Funk and Danny Cruz.

Since then, Cruise Music is constantly growing, delivering the finest disco & funky sounds and at the moment Cruise Music is up there with the best house music labels in the scene including numerous No1 jackin house tracks as well as top 10 tracks and No1 tracks of the year.

Created and launched by UK DJ/producer Nik Denton in 2003, Toolbox House kicked off its incredible journey with the re-release of classic house track 'Save the day' by Diss-Cuss, pathing the way for a string of major signings and success. Since its launch Toolbox has enjoyed countless No.1 chart positions with single and album releases. Including the No.1 compilation "The Dark Side".

Kevin is a massive fan of the music industry and considers himself very lucky to have lived his life heavily involved in the current dance scene!!! From running parties (Flaunt-It, 10 years plus), owning a distribution company (Essential Direct Ltd, one of the most successful Uk Dance Music distributors for the last 10 years), owning and running an online digital promotional site "Promo Fizz", owning an mp3/community site (Mp3toburn) and owning his own record label, no one can say Kevin hasn't contributed to today's dance market!

Nowadays Kevin spends the majority of his time tucked down in the studio and in the last year alone has had releases on Stealth, Toolroom, Deeperfect, Hotfingers to name a few, with 2 of Umek's 1605 label's biggest three releases from the last year! Whilst at the weekends he spends his time djing, gigging at some of the best clubs in the world.

Kevin's label World Sound Recordings, now approaching it's 50th release, already with No.1 hits on the leading online digital websites Beatport /Traxsource) continues to go from strength to strength. This tech house / techno / house label gives Kevin the ideal opportunity to express what he has learnt from the industry and to show case all his new individual productions but also work along side other talented producers as he signs some great material! To date working with the likes of Jesse Garcia, Juan Kidd, Kid Massive, Paul Harris, Felix Baumgartner, Patric La funk & the Hoxton Whores to name a few with it’s direction focused around the current underground dance scene. Throughout it's first year the label pushed heavily to establish itself amongst the stronger credible labels, having plenty of success with it's releases and is regularly supported by numerous A list dj's. The label continues to regularly hit the Beatport / Traxsource / Juno / TrackItDown top 100 charts with numerous No.1 slots with some fantastic releases coming over the next 6 months.
