The year was 1997, and the great tree of electronic dance music continued to expand and split into various branches and their native tribes. Psychedelic trance was in full swing, with its staccato kick drums, high BPMs, and consciousness-expanding synth patterns. To some, it was more than a music style - it represented a way of life. Thus it was for Emok and Banel, two young Danish DJ/producers who fully leaned in and came together in Copenhagen to establish what would become one of the longest lasting and most universally respected labels in the psy-trance underground. Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Captain Hook, just some of the superstars of the scene that have been loyal mainstays on the label's release calendar over the years, but never detracting from the label's ethos of developing new artists through unity, collaboration, and steadfast support. In 2022, Emok and Banel still wake up every day thinking about their core values of connection, passion and ultimately a zest for life. And of course: heart-racing, foot-stomping, and mind-expanding beats!

n the last decade Berlin became a magnetic force of culture. With an enormous appeal to artists from all areas of expertise including music, design, architecture, theatre, dance and everything that helps the evolution of imagination and creativity. This is why it should come to no surprise that it is the birth place of both Iono Music and its founder - Matthias Sperlich.

Like many other labels, Iono Music was born in order to give its founder, Cubixx aka Matthias Sperlich, the freedom he needed to release his first creation as Koaxkaos – "Evolutyon". After he met Murus in 2003 at a Psytrance festival, they started working together for several years, and so Iono Music was established in 2005. Unlike many other labels, which are affected by fashion, hype and commercial factors, Iono Music has been motivated by the radiation that the music transmits and the way the body reacts to it. If the music changes the molecules and atoms into ion then it means it has been ionized*. The Ionization process can only be fully successful if your music is high quality Electronic music. Iono Music's main emphasis is on Progressive Psytrance and yet any Electronic style is accepted as long as it stands out of the others – after all it has to reach the top atmosphere to be an Iono…

Matthias Sperlich was born in 1977 in Berlin, Germany. He has over 15 years of experience behind the decks and has a long time love affair with electronic music. He works as a professional VFX artist for cinema and TV, which allows him to pursue his passion and vision of extraordinary music, while being guided by his perfectionist's standards. Since the beginning Cubixx knew that Iono Music could succeed only if he chooses each artist with extra care, examining every aspect to see if they belong in the Iono family. Thus all the artists and dj's you see in our website were picked one by one, after proving to be not only excellent artists but also great people.

Iono Music never stops to evolve, always being one step ahead with technology and new initiatives it had grown to be an exciting international label. Always on the move, Iono Music promises to give you the top notch music this atmosphere can offer.

Signed to Antu Records and Maharetta Records in 2010, Hypnoise started as a duo and nowadays is run solo by Juan Fontoira.

First release L.S.D. (Logical Structures Database) was a total success, reaching tops in charts and played all around turning Hypnoise into a reference in the scene. After a few tracks on different labels they released their 2nd Ep Organic Machinery on their brand new label Maharetta Records, follow by their Remixed Ep Retrospective with the collaboration from well-knowns Sonic Species, Ital and Tron, and again it was a total blast on the dancefloors and charts, reaching the Top 5 on worldwide releases for a few weeks.

His Debut Album Dimensional Shifting, released in 2014 by Antu Records, was a total success hitting Top 1 on various international charts around the globe, Since then, he has being riding the wave travelling and rocking at the most prestigious festivals and parties around the globe, Including Boom Festival (Portugal), Freqs of Nature (Germany) , Shankra (Swiss) , The Experience (Thailand), Sunburn (India), Ritual (Mexico), Rezonance (South Africa), Origin (South Africa) and the list goes on ...

In 2018 he signed with the well known Sacred Technology Records and release his second studio album ´Dance Among the Spirits´.

In the meantime had been releasing many tracks in different labels as Nano Records, Free Spirit, 24/7 recs, Antu Records,.... and worked in different collaborations with top notch artist.

Always researching and developing his sound, Hypnoise continues stomping the psychedelic trance scene with his higher dimensional productions.
