Bio

Kai Alcé is a Detroit‐bred, Haitian‑American DJ, producer and curator whose career bridges New York, Detroit and Atlanta’s electronic scenes. Having cut his teeth at the Music Institute under mentors like Chez Damier, he went on to launch Atlanta’s landmark DEEP residency at MJQ and co‑found the House In The Park festival. In 2008, he created the NDATL label (New York • Detroit • ATLanta), championing soulful house releases by both legends and newcomers. His annual Deep Detroit reunion has become a Memorial Day pilgrimage for true house heads, while recent collaborations with BBE Music (including a 7″ series with DJ Spinna) and his own Kai Alcé Eyewear line showcase his boundless creativity. Always driven by a passion for deep, soulful vibes and the African Diaspora roots of dance music, Kai Alcé remains a vital mentor and tastemaker in global house culture.
