Back in 2013. One Of A Kind was just an idea that burst out of the shell of imagination of one guy, Marijan Raskovic, who finally realized this project and started working in 2016. where he signed first releases.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer Madloch, Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond between its loyal and ever expanding fanbase.

Originally intended to be a stand alone platform, as Sound Avenue experienced unprecedented growth its musical horizons expanded, eventually paving the way for two label subsidiaries in 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds. The former drew influence from Sound Avenue’s early beginnings, showcasing the best in melodic house while the latter dove into the realms of deeper, dubby house and laid back modern techno.

Now over one hundred releases into their journey, Sound Avenue has continued to flourish through precision, care and well thought out A&R choices. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed the label to work with some of electronic music’s most esteemed artists, such as Budakid, Bachir Salloum & Zone+, Charles Webster, Cosmic Cowboys, Eelke Kleijn, Estroe, Facundo Mohrr, James Teej, Kurt Baggaley, Luis Junior, Martin Roth, Pablo Bolivar, Petar Dundov, PHCK, Powel, Santiago Garcia, Stelios Vassiloudis, Superlounge and Tim Engelhardt.

3rd Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. As the Belgian imprint continued to grow and diversify its output 3rd Avenue was created to focus on the more traditional progressive house sounds which ultimately spawned Sound Avenue’s beginnings. The labels initial releases from Blusoul, Lautaro Varela, Matias Chilano and Progress Inn forged a strong blueprint which still holds true today. Now six years since the labels inception 3rd Avenue has built a healthy artist roster which includes Nicolas Rada, Hot Tuneik, Paul Angelo & Don Argento, Mir Omar, Namatjira and Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic. The label’s ‘We Are The Future’ compilation series has long been one of the best showcases of new and undiscovered artists. Released quarterly these exclusive collections are now revered industry wide for not only developing new talent but for featuring some of the freshest most cutting edge music around. 2019 holds even more promise for this  ourishing imprint with a bevy of exciting releases and an ever expanding artist roster.
