DJ and producer Eugene JOSS — the ideologist of the label — has always perceived and distinguished Artreform as an essential means of seeking and establishing new communications channels. So, after several years' worth of productive work, the label has been able to confer such gifted Ukrainian performers as IO, Harris, Outstrip, KiRiK, Raru, and Joss' solo releases to the truly global audience.

Aside from that, the continually looking for quality mainstream music Artreform team has attracted and signed many notable performers from Europe and Latin America. These talent acquisitions provide the label with a vast record pool to be promoted and distributed both locally and globally to tremendous success.

Relocated in Lisbon a few years later, its sonorities include seductive funk-loaded low ends, rolling percussions, and delicious hypnotic licks while remaining loyal to an elegant but energetic dancefloor attitude.

The label comes from the special secret cocktail, Tamango, created and served exclusively by Yaya’s family in their Turin pub for over 40 years. While its recipe is unknown, it’s clear that Tamango Records’ ingredients include rolling, energetic percussions and groovy basslines, making each party a pure, joyful moment.

Over the years, Tamango Records has seen some of the biggest names in electronic panorama stepping up for a release. Among these are Loco Dice, Manda Moor, Cuartero, Toman, Sidney Charles, Fleur Shore, Prunk, Rossi, Mahony, and Late Replies, each staying true to the label’s no-boundaries sound without losing their unique touch.
