Biografia
James Dymond brings a classical musician’s sense of melody to forceful, uplifting trance. The London-based producer and DJ grew up with piano and orchestral music, then found a different scale of drama in club records. His productions combine expansive themes with the propulsion of hard house and the intricate effects and rhythmic fills of psytrance.
His early development included an unusual exchange: unpaid work for a local techno label bought him access to a studio and experienced production mentors. Tracks such as Gundam subsequently reached Armin van Buuren’s Armada orbit, and Dymond played the Who’s Afraid of 138?! stage at A State of Trance 600. His continuing relationship with Future Sound of Egypt includes solo productions and collaborations with Alex M.O.R.P.H., while his DJ schedule has taken him to Luminosity Beach Festival and London’s Trance Sanctuary.
Dymond also teaches production. Having benefited from hands-on guidance himself, he has shared the techniques behind his tracks through tutorials, treating technical knowledge as something to pass on alongside the music.
