Biografia
DQ is an electronic music project based on distinctive combination of vocals, rhythm and melody. Diverging musical background of three founding members (Igor Puljić - Pookie, Alex Miličević & Dragan Razić), made the band sound unique. Ranging the various forms of contemporary electronic dance music, striving to particular and original sound that characterizes band’s production efforts.
The project started in 2014. in Belgrade-Serbia, when they decided to join their forces of knowledge, talent and experience to form IDQ.
In a very short period of time they managed to collaborate on different tracks with many successful artists and labels. (Yousef, Roger Sanchez, Sandy Rivera, Todd Terry, David Penn, Josh Butler, Yotto, Stefano Noferini, Sam Obernik, Theo Kottis, The Shapeshifters and many more).
Their music has been played and charted by many recognized DJs around the globe like Black Coffee, DJ Harvey, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Claptone, Blond:ish, Gorgon City, Mark Knight, etc.
Along the way IDQ released a single for Yousef’s imprint Carioca Recordings, which later that year was listed on a very successful Global Underground compilation. This turned out to be a beginning of a long time partnership with Yousef and his crew, as they released their debut album on Circus Recordings in May2023.
