Biografia

Bryan Kearney brings an appetite for energy to several different sides of trance and club music. The Dublin DJ and producer moves from the emotional lift of vocal records with Plumb to the darker, more stripped-back work of his Karney alias. Kearnage Recordings gives his musical choices a label home, while KEY4050, his partnership with John O'Callaghan, opens another route into production and performance. The partnership grew from years of friendship and studio work, with its name taken from the entry code of an apartment on Dublin's Meath Street. Tales from the Temple introduced KEY4050 with a 32-track collection in 2019, followed by appearances at Tomorrowland, Transmission and A State of Trance. Their music also supplied the Dreamstate Europe anthem Cisza in 2022. Kearney's solo sets and extended performances sit alongside those collaborative shows. He has described festival dates as practical studio deadlines, giving him a reason to finish new material for both Karney and KEY4050. The different projects allow his music to range widely without losing its connection to the intensity of a live crowd.
